For more than a decade we have all seen the terrible violence inflicted on Ukraine’s people by Russia’s aggression and invasion. Lives destroyed, economies wrecked and communities shattered.

We have also seen the courage and resilience of Ukrainians, who continue to fight back, reclaim what was lost and rebuild their nation.

But lasting recovery requires more than emergency response. It depends on sustained partnerships that empower local organisations and communities to lead the rebuilding.
