MINDEROO FOUNDATION

ARTIST RESIDENCY

Minderoo Foundation’s Arts & Culture team is excited to offer a unique arts residency in Margaret River for mid-career artists residing in Western Australia tackling a collaborative project.

Picture2Picture2

For one month, a group of up to four mid-career artists will have the opportunity to stay at The Residence adjacent to Cape Lodge to pursue their collective vision.

Mid-career artists from all disciplines are encouraged to submit an Expression Of Interest by the 24th of March, 2023, after which selected collaborative projects will be invited to provide more detail to our judging panel.

The one-month residency is available between the 28th of August and 25th of September 2023.

EOIs are due by 5pm AWST on Friday the 24th of March 2023

Successful applicants will receive generous support from Minderoo, including accommodation, a generous individual artist payment, pro-rata documentation payment* and a family support payment where needed.

Arts & Culture will ensure participating artists each have an agreement in place outlining tenancy, insurances and other responsibilities and obligations prior to the start of the residency. Contracts will be in place by the end of June and payment will be made in July/August.

The Collaboration will provide electronic copy to Minderoo for mutual promotional use.
