Project

Environmental Partnerships

Helping preserve, enhance and enjoy our natural environment.

Sustaining our environment

We only have one planet. Minderoo Foundation is investing in programs that encourage the preservation of, and access to, our natural environment.

With WA as our focus, we support programs that improve and sustain a healthy ecosystem, preserve cultural heritage and encourage deeper environmental awareness in the community. We want to ensure we can all continue to enjoy our natural environment now and into the future.

What we facilitate

Minderoo Foundation supports initiatives which investigate threats to our marine environment and supports actions to ensure the health of our reefs and rivers.

Minderoo Foundation values the protection of conservation areas which preserve indigenous flora and fauna especially via the unique knowledge and skills of Indigenous people.

Key partners

Rock Art Australia

Rock Art Australia supports and encourages integrated scientific research, preservation and promotion of Kimberley rock art and culture.

The Nature Conservancy

The Nature Conservancy is a global environmental non-profit non-government organisation working to create a world where people and nature can thrive. Minderoo Foundation is supporting the Nature Conservancy’s new initiative to restore the health of the Swan-Canning Estuary and its lost shellfish reefs.

Busselton Jetty Inc

Extending 1.84 kilometres over the protected waters of Geographe Bay, Western Australia, the heritage-listed Busselton Jetty is the longest tourist jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. The jetty is home to over 300 marine species and its submerged piles form one of the world’s largest artificial reefs.
