Building Resilience

Drawing on research and expertise in Australia and overseas we aim to accelerate innovation in mitigating bushfires and other natural disasters.

A FOCUS ON DISASTER PREVENTION

Our Wildfire and Disaster Resilience Program is being led by Adrian Turner, an experienced international executive and former CEO of CSIRO’s Data61, the data and digital specialist arm of Australia’s national science agency.

We’re focussed on actionable strategies, informing and aligning government, environmental agencies, leading researchers, and local NGOs to develop a lasting response to such crises.

Over the coming weeks, we will be making announcements and updating this page as we develop the Wildfire and Disaster Resilience Program.
