FIRE FUND

Minderoo Foundation has committed AU$70 million to rebuild communities, revitalise local economies and develop a long-term blueprint for wildfire and disaster resilience. Join us as a volunteer, follow our recovery efforts or donate below.

Building RESILIENCE

Minderoo Foundation has allocated AU$50 million to develop a wildfire and disaster resilience program with a stated objective to grow this initial commitment into a AU$500 million fund with support from third parties.

We are engaging with global contributors to invest resources in areas that include climate change, mental health, science, technology, environmental conservation, water security and land management.

The program aims to develop a globally relevant blueprint for fire and disaster resilience. It will accelerate innovation and lead to the development of new approaches to mitigate wildfires and other disasters.

Our collaboration with Team Rubicon Australia will accelerate on-the-ground support for affected communities to help them rebuild.

VOLUNTEER RESPONSE

Minderoo Foundation Fire Fund is mobilising volunteers through Team Rubicon Australia to support disaster clean up and recovery.

Team Rubicon Australia is a veteran-led disaster relief organisation that unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders and everyday people to rapidly provide relief to communities in need.

Fire Fund is supporting Team Rubicon Australia to scale operations across the country. We are also covering travel and accommodation expenses for these specialised volunteers.
